Bespoke by DOTŁ’IZHI

Bespoke by DOTŁ’IZHI
One of one. Made for your story.
Bespoke jewelry is created exclusively for you.
No one else has worn it. No one else owns it. It begins with your story and is brought to life by hand.
At DOTŁ’IZHI, bespoke is more than custom jewelry. It is adornment with meaning. A piece rooted in memory, symbolism, identity, and intention. Every detail is considered with care—from materials and form to texture, movement, and presence.
This is slow luxury.
This is wearable art.
This is jewelry with soul.

What Makes a Piece Bespoke?
A bespoke piece is not pulled from inventory or recreated from a previous design. It is developed through collaboration, guided by your vision and interpreted through my artistic process.
Your piece may honor your heritage, mark a life transition, celebrate love, hold grief, embody strength, or reflect a part of yourself that deserves to be seen. Together, we shape that story into something tangible—something you can wear, keep, and carry forward.
Using techniques passed down to me by my father and elders, I work with materials such as silver, beads, leather, stones, and mixed media to create pieces that feel both intimate and powerful.
Every bespoke piece is one of one.

The Bespoke Experience
Creating a bespoke piece with DOTŁ’IZHI is a personal and collaborative process. I guide each step with care so the experience feels intentional, inspiring, and clear.
1. Inquiry
The process begins when you reach out through my bespoke inquiry form or by email. This is where you share the kind of piece you are interested in, your inspiration, your budget, and any story or symbolism you want to explore.
2. Consultation
We then meet virtually or in person for a complimentary consultation. This conversation allows us to discuss your vision, aesthetic, materials, timeline, and the deeper meaning behind the piece.
3. Concept Development
After our consultation, I develop the design direction. Depending on the project, this may include sketches, visual references, material suggestions, and creative notes. This is where the piece begins to take shape.
4. Estimate + Approval
Once the concept is defined, you will receive a project estimate, timeline, and scope of work. If you decide to move forward, a signed bespoke agreement and non-refundable deposit are required before work begins.
5. Creation
Your piece is handmade in my studio. During this phase, I may share progress updates at key moments in the process. Every bespoke piece is created with precision, patience, and artistry.
6. Completion + Delivery
Once your piece is complete, final payment is due before shipping or pickup. Your finished piece will then be carefully packaged and sent or prepared for collection.

Starting Pricing
Bespoke work begins at $500 for smaller custom pieces.
General starting ranges:
-
Smaller bespoke pieces such as earrings, bolo ties, rings or simple adornment begin at $500+
-
Statement pieces with more detailed design, mixed materials, or layered storytelling typically begin at $1,200+
-
Large-scale, highly intricate, or sculptural work is priced individually
Final pricing is based on materials, scale, complexity, design time, and labor.
Each bespoke piece is one of one and created by hand through a collaborative process. You are not only investing in the finished piece, but in the story, skill, design development, and craftsmanship behind it.

Timelines
Bespoke work is intentionally slow and thoughtful. Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the piece, material sourcing, and current studio schedule.
General timeline ranges:
- Response to inquiry: within 3–5 business days
- Consultation + concept phase: 1–2 weeks
- Production: typically 4–8 weeks
- More intricate pieces: may require additional time
If you need a piece for a special date or event, please include that in your inquiry. Rush orders may not always be available.

Payment Terms
To reserve your bespoke project, the following payment structure applies:
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin
- The remaining balance is due upon completion
- Final payment must be received before shipping or pickup
- Payment plans may be available for select projects upon request
No work will begin until the agreement is signed and the deposit has been received.
Revisions
Because bespoke work is highly personal, collaboration is built into the design process. To keep the project moving smoothly, the following revision structure applies:
- One round of concept refinement is included during the design phase
- Additional revisions or major design changes may incur an added design fee
- Once production begins, major changes may not be possible
This helps protect both your vision and the integrity of the making process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you recreate previous designs?
No. Bespoke work is intended to be one of one. While a past piece may inspire a direction, your final design will be uniquely yours.
Can I use heirloom materials or sentimental items?
Possibly. If you would like to incorporate personal materials, please mention that in your inquiry. I will review whether they are suitable for the design and construction of the piece.
Are bespoke deposits refundable?
No. Deposits are non-refundable because they secure your place in my schedule and cover design time, sourcing, and materials.
How long does the process take?
Most bespoke pieces take approximately 4–8 weeks once the design is approved. More complex work may take longer.
Do you offer rush orders?
Rush orders are considered on a case-by-case basis and may include an additional fee.
Do you ship?
Yes. Shipping is available. Shipping costs, insurance, and signature requirements will be added to the final invoice when applicable.
Are bespoke sales final?
Yes. Because each bespoke piece is made specifically for you, all bespoke sales are final.
Do you offer repairs?
If your piece needs repair, please reach out. I am happy to assess the piece and determine what is possible. Repair fees may apply depending on the issue.
Will I get updates during the process?
Yes, when appropriate. I typically share updates during key moments, especially for more involved projects.
