I sat down with an assortment of beads and allowed my hands to choose what came next. One bead. Then another. Slowly, the necklaces began to take form.

At first, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason. But when I stepped back, I saw it—a pattern had been forming all along.

Different materials were speaking the same language before I even realized there was something they were trying to say.
